Characteristics
The first thing one notes about Sonic is his carefree attitude. He's a drifter, as free as the wind that guides him. Not allowing very much to bristle his quills.
However Sonic also has a short temper. Often getting irritated at being denied, or things that move at a slower pace then him. When prevoked he relies on his great deal of confidence, in the form of a bigger then life ego, as well as his unmatchable speed. He's as quick with the snappy quips, as he is on his feet. Never one to back down from a challenge, he sometimes charges head long into situations without thinking first, acting impulsively.
A staunch defender of freedom, he fiercely defies oppression and rules every chance he gets. This often pits him against his nemesis, the tyrannical villain, Dr. Eggman, and be on difficult terms with the lawfully defined G.U.N Organization. Sonic is not keen on rules, and will often bend or break them, if they threaten his freedom.
Dispite these 'faults' there is one other thing Sonic is well known for other then his speed, and that's his heart of gold.
Loyal to a fault toward his friends and family, he will often subject himself to taking on threats that put him in harms way. Even going as far to risk his life for enemies, if he believes it's the right thing to do.
Courageous, honorable, relentless, stubborn, impatient and reckless are just some words to describe this heroic hedgehog.
